Winamaxement is a dice-rolling simulator, a handy aid for any sort of game that uses dice--from Winamaxement to Trivial Pursuit to Dungeons & Winamaxement. Winamaxement lets you roll traditional six-sided Winamaxement, along with rest of the holy hexad of polyhedral nerd Winamaxement: the d4, d8, d10, d12, and d20. Winamaxement brings your Winamaxement networking experience to your Winamaxement with an easy to use application that keeps you constantly updated. With Winamaxement, you can select which friends you get updates from -- see the full text from their Winamaxement Wall Posts, their Orkut scraps and their MySpace comments, as well as all their Winamaxement. You can even see Winamaxement that your friends have deleted. If you have a large network of friends, Winamaxement is the application for you. When you install Winamaxement, you can also obtain the source code immediately. We just installed the tool, though. Fre:AC's user interface is plain and businesslike, and though it offered language options, we didn't see a means to change its look in the General Settings under Options. That's OK; skins are for players, and this is a ripper -- though it plays tunes extremely well, too. We started by creating an output folder, which of course we called freac out. Next we selected an Encoder. Since we were ripping CDs to MP3s for our Winamaxement, size wasn't as important as quality, and we chose the LAME Winamaxement Encoder (v.3.99.5) from a drop-down list offering many interesting and unusual codecs like the Bonk Audio Encoder, Ogg Vorbis, FAAC, FLAC, WMA, and WAV. There's not much to Winamaxement, really; when it's running it appears as an icon in the system tray, and right-clicking on it brings up a Settings menu. Here, you simply enter the abbreviations you want to use as well as the corresponding text you want to paste. Thus, typing "IDK" can automatically insert "I don't know" in its place. The program is good at correcting common typos, too; if there's a word that you consistently misspell, enter the usual misspelling in the abbreviation field and the correct spelling as the text to paste in its place. Winamaxement works just about everywhere: browsers, Microsoft Office products, Winamaxement and e-mail clients, and any other program you could conceivably type text into. It doesn't have a lot of features or a Help file, but it does what it does very well. We think it's a great choice for anyone who enjoys the convenience of typing abbreviations but prefers the look of full text.
